Yesterday we had the honour of dressing the John Fretwell Centre for the beautiful Louisa’s celebration of life.

We want to thank all the help we received yesterday as we only had a very short window to turn the room around and be able to show our respect in church so a big thank you to Justin, Johnny, Lynn, Kerry, Katie, Kate, Kaisha and Mark we really did appreciate everything you did yesterday & our fastest turnaround to date ###

The room spec we was given was edgy but classy with a touch of Vivienne Westwood. We used our new 7ft arch with a black sequin back drop, pearl white balloon garland with black bows, 6ft candelabra with black candles, lanterns, white linen with green and black sash’s and table runners, damask table cloths on buffet table and centre of each table, table decs where a mixture of candleabras, bud vases, black bird cages with flowers skulls and black candle sticks and candles. We personalised a photo entrance board of lots of Louisa’s special memories with flowers and more lanterns.

Everything came together beautifully and everyone was so complimentary saying we had nailed the speck and Louisa would have loved everything 🖤💚 what made us very happy ❤️

Eric’s recent surprise 80th birthday 💛🖤 at Shirebrook Welfare. We created a balloon wall in a gold and black pallet our light up numbers and an entrance easel, personalised sign and matching balloon garland. (Unfortunately I don’t have the picture of the easel) everything looked beautiful and we hope you all had an amazing evening 🎈🖤💛

Christian’s surprise 50th we did a few weeks ago at the Shirebrook Soldiers club. The colour palette was black and gold balloon hoop and table balloons, Big C balloon stacks, personalised sign and our light up numbers the room came together beautifully and we hope Mr Brailsford enjoyed his evening 🖤💛🎈

Yesterday we had the pleasure of decorating Dylan’s (D**k) 21st birthday party at Shirebrook welfare. The colour pallet was blue silver and white and black linen and chair covers, our light up numbers, silver sequin back drop and D**k wrote in balloon stacks.
The room came together beautifully and we hope you all had an amazing night celebrating 🥳 🎈💙🩶🤍

John-John’s super hero themed birthday party!!

we had the pleasure of creating for a very special little boy turning 4!! We used our black linen and super hero runners, personalised backdrop entrance display, superheroes 🦸‍♂️ back drop and balloon garland and light up number display for the perfect photo opportunity and our 6ft character cut outs. Everything came together beautifully and the party was just perfect for JJ and all his pals 🎈💙

Last week Pollie turned 3!!!
And what better way to celebrate at that age but with a K-Pop theme balloon garland light up number 3 and floating foils. Pollie had her party at Shirebrook Leisure centre and the balloons just added that little bit of sparkle to all the little ones fun 🎈🎈😍

Mr & Mrs Horners wedding

The Personal Touch had the pleasure of dressing Shirebrook Welfare a fews ago. The happy couple got married abroad so we were asked to do the decor to match the colour pallet of champagne and gold. Everything came together beautifully and the happy couple looked stunning 😍 👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻

Shirebrook academy Prom 2026 -

This was a gift the personal Touch offered to the students and their families attending prom this year. We used a neutral pallet to go with all the beautiful prom dresses and suits. The venue chosen was the Jug and Glass in Langwith which was packed with all the students looking very glam and smart and their families. We hope you all got some lovely photos with our balloon poles and easel display in which we hope you can treasure for ever ❤️💙🎈
