⚡️INTRODUCING J MAJIK⚡️

is a pioneering producer and DJ, best known for his influential role in shaping the drum and bass scene from the 1990s onward. Emerging from the UK rave and jungle movements, he quickly gained recognition for his melodic, atmospheric approach to production, helping to push the genre beyond its harder underground roots.

He is an original member of Metalheadz, the influential label founded by Goldie that helped define the genre’s darker, more experimental edge. Beyond that, J Majik has released on seminal imprints like Reinforced Records and True Playaz, while also establishing himself as a tastemaker through his own label Infrared and as co-owner of Deep Jungle.

Throughout his career, J Majik has collaborated with artists such as Wickaman, forming the duo “J Majik & Wickaman”. In ’95, Your Sound by J Majik first landed on Goldie’s Metalic Nutcases imprint, right in the thick of jungle’s raw, formative years. Two years later in ’97, J Majik revisited the cut with a remix that gave it a second life on the dancefloor, sharpening its edges while keeping that deep, rolling jungle spirit intact. Fast forward nearly two decades and the track resurfaced again in remastered form, proving just how timeless that original energy still sounds when the breaks hit right.

He released his debut EP, Hysteria, in 1992 under the alias Dexxtrous on Lemon D’s Planet Earth Records at just 14 years old! J Majik’s longevity in the scene reflects both his adaptability and his lasting influence on generations of producers and DJs.

A true legend of the scene and it’s an honor to have him celebrate our 1st Birthday with us🙏🏼✨

🔥INTRODUCING VXRGO🔥

VXRGO ♍️🦋 is a South London selecta, pushing the ‘dark and lovely’ side of Jungle/Drum and Bass. Starting her journey in 2022, VXRGO has proved time and time again why she’s a force to be reckoned with - one which earned her a spot on DJ Mag’s 2024 artists-to-watch.

Her diverse taste in genres spans from Lovers Rock to Progressive Rock - a taste that is reflected in her love for Jungle/D&B, a genre that serves as a melting pot for various styles. Her love for raving ultimately sparked a passion for the art of DJing, and the rest is history. Since her inception, she has gone from strength to strength, gracing stages both nationally and internationally at the likes of Glastonbury, Boomtown, Outlook Origins, and Keep Hush, in renowned venues such as fabric, FOLD, Phonox and The Jazz Cafe, to name a few - all while shelling down at grassroots dances and festivals, and holding down a residency on Kool FM.

VXGRO’s work ethic does not stop here - in 2023, she released her debut track ‘It’s Not So Bad’, and in 2025, she released her debut EP ‘Borough Breaks’, which was followed by various singles on respected underground labels paired with BBC1Xtra/Radio 1 Dance plays, and a second EP released on SHERELLE and Naina’s Hooversound Recordings. These accolades, along with VXRGO’s down-to-earth energy and approach to music, have earned respect and support from
heavyweight torchbearers in the scene, such as the EQ50/Rupture crews, Tim Reaper, DJ Ron, DJ Stretch, and more.

‼️ INTRODUCING MR KLEMIT ‼️

hits SPUN for our 1st birthday to Rebellion Manchester on 24th April 🤩✨

A lifelong love and understanding of music gives MR KLEMIT the ability to draw from a wide range of influences, fusing all styles from Jazz to Jungle to enhance the dance with style and energy.

In recent years, MR KLEMIT joined forces with Manchester DnB & Jungle collective CODE_MCR becoming an integral part of the crew and gaining his deserved recognition within the Manchester underground scene.

MR KLEMIT goes on to support local, independent collectives like Dark Red Records to put their stamp down for real music and real vibes.

His not too much, just enough style of MC’ing and hosting has caught the attention of some of the most highly respected DJs across multiple genres, shining a bright light on the value of the Mic Controller to lift the vibes higher.

Bringing the right energy each and every time and often found holding down whole sessions single handedly, vibing until the last tune.

We invited Mr Klemit to share some of his favourite jungle tunes to celebrate our love for jungle🤩✨

Yemi Bolatiwa is no stranger to the stage or a microphone from smooth soulful Melodies at the MOBO Fringe to powerful soulful D&B top lines. She has spent 10 years working her way around the UK scene crossing genres and injecting powerful vocal toplines as an independent soul artist. This multi-modal soul-dier has roots in D&B, Dub & Reggae gracing stages from Boomtown to Gotwood to Nass Fest and having collaborated with Benny Page, Dope Ammo, Brian Brainstorm, Jungle Cakes, Chimpo and Halogenix she’s no stranger to rollers, jungle or liquid - her first loves! With plays on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, 6 Music, BBC Radio Manchester, Reprezent Radio, 1Xtra and more, her vocals have proven good enough for the airwaves but truly come to life live and direct.

You may have seen her on stage with The Untold Orchestra, Paradox Orchestra or in the city’s leading live venues but for SPUN she’ll bring her dynamic and energetic tones for topline and toasting duties; taking her place as the layer of smooth vox across the night.

Yemi Bolatiwa recently made the top 10 for the MOBO & PPL talent programme! She has an incredible talent and being selected for this was so deserving! We can’t wait to see what’s next for the amazing Yemi Bolatiwa!! 🤩
