SOPHIE & SIMON

This was a treat of a wedding as I thoroughly enjoy a day out in The Lakes. We we’re ever so lucky & had clear skies all day. However, it was absolutely freezing & I’m in awe of how long the newlyweds managed to stay outside on the peer.

Sophie & Simon’s little boy was a guest of honour & did an excellent job of being the ring security. I’ve included a couple of moments that made me smile. The first is his first look with his mum & the second is him stomping on the wedding dress during the drinks reception. Sophie was so relaxed about it though & instead of telling him off, she just pulled him in for a big bear hug.

is such a beautiful hotel, inside & out. When night fell, we made the most of the garden gazebo to create some twinkly twilight photos.

Here’s lifetime of happiness together with many more cheeky moments to come. Huge congratulations to all three of you.

HAYLEY & CAM

Whilst editing this gorgeous day, I noticed something very important. Hayley & Cam put their grandparents to work & it was a genius idea.
Often, I see grandparents enjoying the day but this wedding made me realise the importance of creating a role for them, if they’re well enough & willing.

Joyce had her very own first look with our blushing bride & she was the Flower Granny too. It’s clear that she took this job very seriously & you’ll see that she was excellent at throwing both petals & confetti too.
Dave was given a camcorder at the start of the day & I think he may have missed his calling because he documented that day better than some of my old BBC colleagues.
Both witnessed the signing of the register which made for another lovely moment.
Cam’s nan, Hilary was there too but she didn’t want to be in the spotlight & I can respect that.

Overall, I got so many photos of these glorious grandparents as they did their duties & I think it’s something all couples should consider.

CHLOE & JOSH

We had the most beautiful Autumnal day for Chloe & Josh’s epic wedding. The sun was shining, the leaves were golden & was looking magnificent. However, just as we stepped outside for the couples portraits, it started to rain. 😂 In a weird twist of fate, it was still quite sunny too & this combination created the most perfect rainbow over the castle. We managed to capture a few photos of this epic moment before ducking for cover inside.

The rest of the day was also pretty perfect. The ceremony was beautiful & the speeches were the best mix of funny & heartfelt. I especially loved the confetti moment, cake cut & sparklers as all of the guests had such a great energy & got so involved.

When evening came, the dance floor was packed & as I left, Josh was twirling Chloe in the middle of it. 🥹

Gorgeous day for a wonderful couple. Thanks for inviting & I to come along & capture it.

Clair & John’s big day at the beautiful was so full of joy, giggles & epic dance moves. Burnt oranges and turquoise came together perfectly to create an elegant autumnal atmosphere that was amplified by the twinkling lights indoors & the fallen leaves outside.
Clair was beaming from start to finish and John couldn’t take his eyes off her. The day was full of singing, dancing & laughter. When evening came, the dance floor was absolutely packed, with some very impressive moves on show!

Huge congratulations to the happy couple, it was such a brilliant day.
