Excited and nervous all at the same time! 🦋💕♥️

I’m so very excited to invite you to my exhibition at The Didsbury Parsonage this February - Opening on Sunday 2nd from 2pm!

It’s going to be magical!! ..no doubt 💫
I started writing this over-excitedly and re read it that many times I’m a bag of nerves!! 😂 ..but in a good way I guess, as annoying as those butterflies in your belly can be 🦋 ..suppose it shows you care but oh my, it’s one of those times I need a push to press post!
So far it’s been ever so serendipitous, the moment I realised sky is in my name I was hooked..
I could paint the sky all day everyday, the colours seem endless, lights of all kinds.. whatever the time but most especially after dark! 😍
⏳ It’s somewhat surreal to be excited for this as I did not feel that way the first time.. (6 years ago now wow) and tbh I was terrified!!
It felt like baring my soul and in some way I was! Still ever so lovely, memories I’ll treasure forever, but if I’m frank, most art from that exhibition came from a place of pain.
I like to think of it as a form of alchemy but as this time round it’s all been created from a place of pure joy, it’s simply pure magic!! 🪄
The light gets in many ways, it’s within us afterall.. yet sometimes you have to walk through the dark to get to the other side.. the wound is where the light gets in, apparently, but the light at the end of the tunnel is now on fire! 💥
Energy sure is something. When your vibration rises to a brighter frequency my gosh do you feel it on all levels..

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, art is fun but ever so therapeutic! I owe so much healing to making, creating and being inspired by art and it’s beautiful to look back on the journey instead of being at the start of it all. Even if that seems not so long ago at all..
I always used to hate what I made.
However awesome, I would find fault!
I don’t know how long it’s been as it’s been long enough to loose track, but these days I fall in love with everything I make 💕♥️
A gift that keeps on giving..
Even if I end up quite attached to my paintings, like they become my babies!! Bubble wrapped next to my bed 😂
There’s so many I could never part with so I had to make everything especially for this exhibition! And what a pleasure it has been to showcase the sky! 🙌🏼
🪧 And so, for one month - my original artwork will be available for rehoming from Fletch’s house!! 🏡
But please note, once the exhibition is over whichever ones come back with me will be coming back to live happily ever after 😆 ..I’m already debating a few for keeps, but what’s lovely about that is I always wanted to create art I would want too!
📸 I can’t wait to show and share what I’ve made!! I’ll most likely post a pic a day once we’re up up and away!
