Today is International Wine Day. For us, it's a reminder of what good wine service looks like to Escapade.

It starts pre-event. Sitting down with clients and their chefs to understand the menu, the mood, and the moments that matter. The right selection can shape the entire feel of an evening, lifting the food and giving dinner service its own character.

Every bottle is chosen with the intention to complement the food, support the flow, and make every detail feel considered.

When it's chosen well, wine isn't just another option on the menu; it shapes it.

Cocktail Spotlight: Aestival

Not quite summer, not quite winter. That in-between feeling when the light changes, the evenings stretch out, and everything shifts a little.

We built this one around that moment. Tanqueray Seville brings the bittersweet warmth of Spanish oranges, bergamot liqueur adds a delicate floral edge, and the classic peach and cranberry base ties it all back to a familiar s*x on the beach, reimagined for the season.

The result is a drink that feels warm before it even hits the glass. Bright, layered, and easy to love.

Five weeks until Bolesworth International!

It's a big operation. Multiple bars, two weeks, thousands of guests, but the brief stays the same: drinks that match the standard of the event, service that runs without a hitch, and a bar team that cares about the detail.

When we're at an event, our focus is entirely on the room. The guests, the small details that make the whole thing feel effortless.

That means reading the energy before anyone has to ask, keeping things moving without making a fuss of it, and making sure every interaction feels considered.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to, every time.

A spotlight on: His & Her Sharer.

Some menus are built around a theme, this one was built around a feeling. Buried Light was a concept we developed for an underground cabaret venue in Manchester City Centre - the idea being that even underground, there's something worth finding. Something good, something light, something that makes the night feel like it was worth showing up for.

Her side came in deep red: condensed milk, raspberry and gin. Soft, romantic, and a little indulgent. His side looked metallic grey and leaned into almonds, walnuts and white chocolate, quieter in colour, more complex in flavour. Together, they made up one of the sharers on the menu, built for date nights and post-dinner cocktails at a venue that's become a proper Manchester staple.

The kind of brief we love, a concept with a story behind it, and drinks that deliver on it.

We’re already counting down to this summer!

Bolesworth International brings together world-class showjumping and modern supercars for two weeks of serious horsepower in Cheshire - It’s an unbelievable setup and we love being part of it.

For the last three years, we’ve been the team behind the bars across the estate, making sure the hospitality matches the standard of the sport and the event as a whole. It’s a massive operation, but the goal never changes: seamless service, done properly, without the fuss.

We’ll be back keeping the drinks flowing at Bolesworth International this summer from 26 June to 5 July.
