Do line-upu African Beats Festival dołącza Rasm Almashan - polsko-jemeńska wokalistka, autorka tekstów i kompozytorka.
Urodzona w Krakowie, wychowana w Adenie, dorastała na styku kultur, czerpiąc z jemeńskich tradycji muzycznych oraz brzmień Afryki Wschodniej. Dziś tworzy muzykę, w której łączy wpływy arabskie, afrykańskie i europejskie z improwizacją i wrażliwością współczesnej sceny. W swoich utworach opowiada o radości prostego życia, tożsamości, tęsknocie, doświadczeniu migracji oraz codzienności ludzi dotkniętych konfliktem, nadając osobistym historiom uniwersalny i poruszający wymiar.

Rasm Almashan joins the African Beats Festival line-up — a Polish-Yemeni singer, songwriter, and composer.
Born in Kraków and raised in Aden, she grew up at the crossroads of cultures, drawing from Yemeni musical traditions as well as the sounds of East Africa. Today, she creates music that blends Arab, African, and European influences with improvisation and the sensitivity of the contemporary scene. In her songs, she tells stories of the joy of simple life, identity, longing, migration, and the everyday realities of people affected by conflict — giving deeply personal narratives a universal and moving dimension.

Wspaniała wiadomość! Ikona polskiej sceny reggae, zespół DAAB (oficjalna strona zespołu) wraca do aktywności koncertowej. Spodziewajcie się muzyki serc w oryginalnym wydaniu.
Głos Andrzeja Zeńczewskiego mimo ok. 40lat śpiewania w DAABie - wciąż w świetnej formie. Znacie go od 1983 - roku założenia DAABu, np z piosenki „Przed nami wielka przestrzeń”, pierwszego wydawnictwa zespołu (singiel, Tonpress).
Był to debiut radiowy DAABu na LP3 . tak wyczekiwany zew wolności w ciemnych czasach. Póżniej nastąpiło kilkadziesiąt lat koncertów w Polsce i Europie.
Cały skład gotowy jest na eksplozję reggaeowego wajbu, a bas (Artur Miłoszewski) pulsuje jak za dawnych lat.
Przesłanie DAABu brzmi niezmiennie : chcemy łączyć podzielony świat!
Sprawdzicie to na koncertach.
W najbliższych miesiącach zespół nie planuje występów klubowych.
