It was a real privilege to create this double-ended casket spray for a much-loved wife, mother and grandmother.

She loved her garden and the outdoors and so her family asked if I could include as many seasonal flowers, wildflowers, grasses, seed heads and foliage from our farm as possible, creating a design that felt wild, abundant and full of character.

Can you spot the vibrant purple cardoons, alium seed heads, poppies, euphorbia, fennel, budleia, nigella and so many more varieties collected from around the farm?

I designed the spray as a collection of smaller posies, allowing it to be separated after the service so that family members could each take home a small tribute in her memory.

It was created on a moss and chicken wire base, with thyme and rosemary plants woven through it and they be replanted afterwards. Completely foam-free and fully compostable, it was a joy and an honour to create such a personal and sustainable farewell.

If you have recently lost a loved one and would like to discuss creating a personal, bespoke floral tribute that reflects their life and personality, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’d be honoured to help you create a meaningful farewell.

Another lovely workshop last night on a beautiful June summer’s evening as part of British Flowers Week. 🌸

We welcomed a group of lovely ladies who were former work colleagues enjoying a catch-up together, along with another guest who brought her mum along for a special evening. There was plenty of laughter and chatting as everyone wandered through the garden, picking their favourite flowers. Despite my earlier panic that I might not have enough blooms, every bucket ended up overflowing!

Over a glass of bubbly and some delicious crudités, I demonstrated how to create a hand-tied bouquet before everyone had a go themselves. The results were absolutely incredible – each bouquet was completely unique and I think they all surprised themselves with what they had created.

The final flourish was choosing tissue paper colours and learning how to wrap the bouquets beautifully. Seeing everyone’s creations transformed into professional-looking bouquets was such a joy. ✨

I have a few spaces available for private workshops in August for small groups of 4–6 people. By then, the dahlias will be in full swing alongside all the flowers I sowed from seed earlier this year.

If you’re looking for a relaxed evening with friends, family or colleagues, enjoying drinks, nibbles and the chance to pick and arrange flowers from our beautiful garden, I’d love to host you. It’s such a wonderful way to spend time together and create something beautiful to take home. 💐

I spent a very happy 2 hours yesterday evening with 3 lovely ladies who came to the first of my PYO workshops. My annuals are still too small but they had the pick of the perennials from our garden and look what they found.

We dodged the showers and then came into our kitchen to create 3 beautiful hand tied bouquets.. all very different and absolutely stunning. I showed them how to match the colour of the tissue paper to the flowers and then we wrapped them to create a stunning professional hand-tied bouquet to take home!

Wine flowing and home made cupcakes enjoyed!

If you have a group of friends/family that might like to join me for a few hours of flowery bliss, do contact me direct otherwise all my workshops are on my website.

Very hot day yesterday helping Kate at a beautiful wedding at . We created a beautiful arch for the outdoor ceremony which we then had to move to the reception area after the service.. challenging to say the least in 34 degrees! I loved the shepherds crooks hung with flowers in jam jars down the aisle which were then used on the tables for the reception.

Well done to Flowers from the farm with their very first flower farm at Chelsea and winning a silver gilt! - it was beautiful.
