Facebook just reminded me of this post from 10 years ago… 🏆
Looking at this picture, I can’t help but reflect on the journey.
It’s been a long, beautiful road behind the decks, with 20 awards along the way, countless dance floors, different generations, different sounds and so many chapters.
What makes me smile most is remembering that from day one, I always tried to find my own lane.
I wanted to do things differently from other DJs, not just play the same way everyone else was playing. Even when I was simply behind the decks, I was always looking for new ways to connect with the crowd and create an experience.
Then came the mic. 🎤
Some people see the mic today and think that’s what made me different.
But the mic was never the beginning.
It was just another chapter of the evolution.
The music changed. The technology changed. The crowds changed. I changed too.
The 20 awards are special memories, but what means even more is knowing I’ve kept evolving without losing the reason I started in the first place.
I tried to be different from day one.
The mic just gave that difference another voice. 🎧🎤
