Amelia’s SENsational Events are back 🌈
I know I’ve been really quiet on here over the summer and if I’m honest, I’ve just been trying to find the balance.
The summer holidays, being a mum, work, Amelia, everyday life AND trying to keep this little community growing… turns out there actually aren’t enough hours in the day 😂
I think sometimes there’s this pressure to constantly post, constantly be doing something and constantly show up. But behind Amelia’s SENsational Events is literally just me, trying to juggle everything and occasionally getting it very wrong 😂
So over the summer I took the pressure off a little bit to actually give me time to think properly about the events. Things like, what the children have enjoyed most and where I want to take Amelia’s SENsational Events next.
And I think I’ve finally found the balance… or at least something that slightly resembles it 😂
So we’re back. And I genuinely think the events are going to be better because of it.
Over the summer, I’ve also had time to really look at our previous events — what’s worked, what the children have naturally enjoyed and the little things I’ve noticed that I can improve. I’ve taken all of that on board and used it to make the next events even better.
More than anything, I want our events to feel like an open space where children can just be. There’s no pressure to do everything, join in with everyone else or play in a certain way. They can explore what interests them, spend as long as they like doing something they love, take a break when they need one, or simply take their time getting comfortable in the space.
And what better way to say we’re back than with our next event! 🌈❤️

Thank you to everyone who has stuck around while I’ve been a bit quiet! Now I just need to keep hold of this “balance” I have apparently found 😂❤️
