There’s something so special about seeing a couple’s love story brought to life in print! šŸ¤

These bespoke wedding newspapers were created for the loveliest couple, Lesley & Steve, filled with personal touches, memories, little details about their journey together and thoughtful extras for their guests to enjoy on the day.

Wedding newspapers are such a beautiful way to add personality to your tablescape whilst also doubling as entertainment for guests during the wedding breakfast.

From your love story and photographs, to fun facts, timelines, horoscopes, QR codes, interactive crossword puzzles and more, they become a keepsake your guests can truly take home and treasure!

Printed on beautifully smooth, high quality stock with crisp black ink for that timeless editorial feel, each newspaper is designed to feel elegant, personal and completely bespoke to you.

Thank you so much Lesley & Steve for trusting me to create these for your special day and for allowing me to share a little glimpse into your story! ✨

I have a guide on what to include in your wedding invites a few scrolls down on my page, but I thought it might be useful to touch on when to send them out as I’ve seen quite a few posts in wedding groups of brides and grooms unsure of their stationery timeline. šŸ¤

So… When should you send your wedding invitations?

One of the most common questions I get with enquiries and the answer isn’t always straightforward for every couple.

Your timeline can vary depending on your guest list, whether you’re planning a destination wedding, and how bespoke you’d like your designs to be.

Starting early gives us both time to create something truly thoughtful and personal, without the pressure of a fast-approaching deadline.

Adding a themed timeline felt like such a special touch here!

Inspired by Only Fools and Horses and Harry Potter, this design tells the story of this couple’s journey from the very beginning to where they are now, capturing the milestones that shaped their relationship along the way.

This is the side of stationery I truly love, you get to know your couples on a deeper level. No matter where someone joined them in their story, they’re given a glimpse into who they are, what they love, and the little details that make them uniquely them.

It’s personal, meaningful, and I honestly feel so lucky to be a part of each couples journey! šŸ¤

Wondering what to include on your details card?

Think of your details card as the FAQ of your invitation suite, answering all the practical questions your guests might have. šŸ“

Your main invitation (front page) usually includes the essential details such as your names, wedding date and venue.

A details card allows you to keep the invitation beautifully simple while still providing your guests with the extra information they may need for the day.

Couples often include things such as:
- arrival, ceremony and reception timings
- venue postcode and full address
- accommodation recommendations
- parking or transport information
- a wedding website or RSVP link
- gift registry details
- dress code guidance

Personally, I often recommend keeping the front of the invitation elegant and uncluttered, with the key information only. Extra details like postcodes, timings or accommodation suggestions can then sit neatly on a separate details card.

It’s a small addition, but it can make a really big difference in helping guests feel informed and prepared for your day!

Your plate awaits…
Menu cards that double as place cards are the perfect way to elevate your table setting! Not only do they guide your guests to their seat, they become a beautiful part of the tablescape itself.

These were created using beautifully textured card, delicate script typography and finished with a flowing frayed ivory ribbon and personalised name tag for each guest.

Thoughtful details like these are what make your stationery feel truly bespoke and memorable.

Would you choose menus that double as place cards for your wedding?

One of the questions I read or hear the most from couples online during wedding planning is…

ā€œDo we really need bespoke wedding stationery?ā€

It’s easy to think of stationery as something to organise later on in the planning process, or even as a simple ā€˜DIY’ task. However, in reality, stationery is often what quietly ties a wedding together!

From the first invitation your guests receive to the details they see on the day, these small touches help tell the story of your celebration. šŸ¤

In our very first journal post we explore why wedding stationery matters more than many couples realise, and how bespoke designs can transform a wedding from simply beautiful into something that truly reflects you both and your journey as a couple.

If you’re currently planning your wedding and wondering whether bespoke stationery is right for you, you might find it a really helpful read!
