We are back and do we have some brilliant ceilidhs coming up for you!

On Saturday 27 September we will welcome the esteemed London Fiddle Collective, led by the illustrious Deb Chalmers and Will Allen, making their debut at Waterloo Ceilidhs.

Then we are absolutely delighted to welcome back Brown Boots Boogie Band for a special Halloween ceilidh on 31 October, following their sell-out Burns Night ceilidh earlier this year.

Storming onto the festival scene in 2024, Definitely Contraband supply addictive dance music through the fiery fiddling force of Martin Clarke and Nicky McConkey, laced with heady beats from Ben Filmer-Sankey on guitar and banjo, and Tom Evans on bass. Their high-energy dance grooves and boundless enthusiasm make for an intoxicating evening!

Dear all

FRIDAY'S CEILIDH WITH HEKETY POSTPONED

Waterloo Ceilidhs is a new ceilidh series, and we're committed to putting on the best events in our lovely central London venue.

Unfortunately we haven't sold enough tickets to ensure we have a great ceilidh this Friday. It's a learning point for us - perhaps being in April and between the Easter weekend and May bank holiday weekend means many people are away.

As such, following conversations between us as organisers, the band and the venue, we have decided to postpone our Hekety ceilidh. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

I want to personally thank you for supporting Waterloo Ceilidhs and hope you'll join us next time. I have written to everyone who bought tickets to make arrangements for refunds or transferring tickets to future events (with bringing a friend for free).

So, it's a shame about Friday, but we look ahead to our next events. Let's make them amazing - and help us by booking well in advance!
