☀️ Pregnant during a heatwave? Save this post for some simple ways to stay cool, comfortable and hydrated 🤰💛

🌿 Choose breathable fabrics like cotton, linen and bamboo to help you feel cooler.

🧊 Cool your pressure points. Try a chilled flannel or cooling pack on your neck, wrists or forehead. For nighttime, freeze your pillowcase before bed for cooler, more comfortable nights.

💧 Keep sipping water. Carry a bottle with you and add fruit or mint if that makes it easier to drink.

🌅 Time your day wisely. Avoid the hottest part of the day where possible and choose cooler mornings or evenings for outings.

💦 Make a DIY cooling spray with water and aloe. Keep it in the fridge for a refreshing mist when you need to cool down.

🧊💨 No AC? Try a fan and ice. Place a bowl of ice in front of a fan to create a cooler breeze.

🚨 If you feel unwell, dizzy, faint, confused, unusually breathless or have any concerns, get out of the heat and seek medical advice.
