✨ Picture this: A group of art enthusiasts standing in awe of Anish Kapoor's mirror sculptures, exchanging ideas about the meaning behind them. That was just one of many unforgettable moments during our visit to the Lisson Gallery in London.
On the last day of this special exhibition, it was inspiring meeting so many people to explore the works of this extraordinary artist in such a dynamic and transcendent environment where reflection and distortion were playing together, forcing us to reassess our relationship to the stability of our own mirrored self.
After that, we enjoyed a nice walk along one of my favourite parts of the Regent's Canal up to Camden where we gathered for a few drinks and chats at "The Albert" a really nice and cosy local pub.
Thank you all for participating in another successful event.
📢See you at our next event on the 1st of February 2025, stay tuned!
“The interesting thing about a polished surface to me is that when it is really perfect enough it literally ceases to be physical; it levitates; it does something else, especially on concave surfaces...What happens to concave surfaces is in my view, completely beguiling. They cease to be physical and it is that ceasing to be physical that I’m after.” - Published in ‘Past, Present, Future’, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Boston, 2008
