We wanted to set a luxurious tone right from the beginning and incorporated golden cracks in the invitations — honouring the unique and distressed walls of the Art Club’s dining room and taking inspiration from the Japanese concept of ‘Kintsugi’, a metaphor for embracing flaws and imperfections, and fixing things using gold, instead of throwing them away.

A nice little analogy to marriage and a beautiful piece of card for S&S to keep.

— A corner of Hannah & Leigh‘s ceremony backdrop this summer. With wonderful on the flowers, really bringing this concept to life.

The floral cloud was designed with the couple’s love for mid century and brutalist aesthetics in mind. The grapes represent a joyous life. The mirror is a representation for light and a bright future together. 

Loved dreaming this up with Hannah — a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Persian ceremony setup ‘Sofreh Aghd‘, in honour of her roots and the things they love. Make it personal I say.

HILDE stands against every form of racism (the obvious and the hidden), exclusion and dehumanisation, today and always!
