A surprise proposal at Seven Sisters, all planned without her knowing.

I was there to capture the moment from a distance, keeping everything low-key until he finally popped the question. 💍

After she said YES, we spent the rest of the evening taking photos around the cliffs.

十幾年前影嘅黑白菲林照片，可以有幾靚？

這些，是當年用黑白菲林拍下的香港婚禮。

沒有即時預覽，沒有AI，沒有人面追蹤對焦技術，亦沒有事後補救的空間。每一下快門，都要靠經驗、判斷和對現場光影的掌握。

還有那兩部陪我走過無數婚禮現場的Canon EOS-1V，菲林年代 Canon 專業系統入面嘅頂級機皇。

那個年代，兩部機不只是器材，而是一個專業攝影師面對重要時刻的基本準備。

十多年後再看，好的婚禮相，原來真的不會老。

回想起20年前也是Sheraton, 第一次拍攝這樣角度的相片，走過新郎新娘背後拍攝全場，以我所知我應是第一位攝影師這樣上台拍攝（如果你比我更早拍，請留言更正我），那時仍是拍攝菲林，原因是那年代相信沒有攝影師夠膽在眾目睽睽下，在這樣重要時刻入鏡，「唔俾人鬧就有鬼」，當然我是取得客人同意，才拍攝這個全場角度，之後亦有許多攝影師拍攝同樣角度，我便停下來沒拍了，今次應新人要求，再次上台取景，回味當年第一次。
