Meanwhile is back, this time we are joined by one of our favourite producers and DJ’s of the moment.

Will Hofbauer is the founder of Third Place Records and has released music on the likes of Wisdom Teeth, Control Freak and Turbo Guidance as well as having guested on the likes of Rinse FM alongside Hessle Audio and contributing mixes for Crack Magazine and Ransom Note. 2024 is set to be very big for Will, with a number of exciting releases in the pipeline.

This Friday we do The Haggerston, here are a few records you may or might not hear in the pub… 💥

“ recent album on NCA features some of the best ‘weird’ bass meets techno of late. Whilst not all of it is entirely suitable for a pub dance there are a few cuts which I reckon will sound large between the small walls.” -

“I recently won this test pressing in a giveaway from Manchester-based label . Shouts to them because I’ve never won s**t in my life. I don’t know too much about it other than the fact it’s a killer collab with a cult ‘80s tape label, it’s due out in May, and it’s full of all kinds of weird and fuzzy industrial/electro excellence. That may not sound particularly pub-worthy, but believe me it is.” -

“This is a split by Flo Sullivan and Gaynor Rose Madder, but I think they are the same person and the latter is her real name. This is a bit of me. The a side is some upbeat energetic disco and the b side is some dark downtempo electronics. The b2 has this dark monologue in this beautiful northerner accent over some deep industrial sounds and really hits! Most likely the high energy A side will see the floor of the haggerston but if we hit the after party the b2 is bringing on some beautiful comedowns!” -
