Since the very first meeting with Tori I loved the challenge of bringing colours and a modern touch to a venue I’ve painted many times before.

And so it was a bright, beautiful day, adorned with fantastic flowers, filled with the people they love - all captured but the talented photography and orchestrated by

After spending hours scraping and burnishing the gesso it’s finally time to lay the gold leaves (all different kinds!) and see that 1% that makes progress visible & tangible.

The Scottish thistle, red roses and clover pieces are still available - DM me if you’d like to own or gift to your loved ones a unique piece of art, made following the very same steps monks and artists took back in the Middle Ages.

Thanks to everyone for the lovely messages. At +34 I feel like I’m finally getting closer to where I always wanted to be.

I leave you with the finished copy of a small detail from the Spinoza book of hours- probably one of the fastest pieces I’ve made, despite the large amount of details.

And now on to the next chapter!
