Track 1: Girly
Girly is probably the most fun track I’ve written. I made it as something to let loose to and be silly with your friends on the dancefloor.
Track 2: Tides (feat. Jess Young )
Tides was sort of an accidental collaboration. My original intention was for this to be an instrumental piece, but after a session with Jess, I couldn’t imagine the track any other way. It’s about finding hope in dark, isolating times and looking for the light.

Track 3: Untitled String Song
I wrote most of this one from my living room sofa using just my laptop speakers and keys. Having no studio setup or MIDI keyboard put me into weird hyperfocus that felt exciting and raw. I wanted to keep that feeling intact before finally taking it to the studio to finish it off.
Track 4: In The Wind
This is the most personal track on the EP for me. I’m a big Benny Sings fan, so getting to sample him felt really special. It started as a wonky club tool, but the sample took it somewhere much more emotional. The main hook captured a feeling I’d been struggling to put into words lately, which made the writing around it come together so seamlessly.
