It’s been a while since we’ve had a gig...

We’re so excited to have the super talented playing various Bollywood and English tunes with us this Sunday 30th of August for our continued support of affected daily wage workers in India.

They’re also taking special requests until Wednesday, all you need to do is DM us your request in exchange of a small donation (any amount) for our chosen charity. Link to donate is in the bio.

Don’t have requests? We’d still love your support, every donation matters and can make a difference.

Ps: don’t forget to bring your cup chai/ glass of wine!

See you next Sunday! 🤩

**It's a part of a series of FREE events we are bringing to you this year to fundraise for daily wage affected workers in India.

I’m Jigna, I spend my day either crunching numbers or planning outfits, but more recently I’m taking on the stigma attached to being a divorced woman in the South Asian community.

I was 27 when I got divorced.

Whilst I was already in a very dark place dealing with the emotions of a relationship breakdown, with my self-worth at its lowest, I also had to listen to my community’s judgment on the consequences of being a divorcee and was labelled as ‘damaged goods’ and ‘second hand’.

Self-worth and self-confidence are things I have always had difficulties with and the unkind comments and unreasonable speculations do nothing to help your mental health. It has taken months and months of therapy to get me to where I am now.

The South Asian community saw my divorce as a failure, and made me feel like one, yet ignored the fact that the decision to get a divorce requires tremendous amounts of strength and bravery. Too often women are unfairly blamed as being more responsible for the divorce than men and are subject to much heavier consequences.

I’ve spent the past four years learning to accept who I am as a person, and that means making peace with my past.

It has showed me that I have the inner strength to get through something challenging, and most importantly, I have the respect for myself to walk away from a situation that is no longer healthy.
I will only view my divorce as a positive thing that happened in my life.

It can be difficult for many people to remember this because the judgement and pity is endless, but I want to remind all the divorced people out there that they’ve lived through their darkest days, and they’ve come into the light as stronger, happier, healthy person.

We don’t deserve to be criticised for getting a divorce, we deserve to be supported. So many people feel like they are left with no choice but to stay in a toxic relationship simply due to the fear of what society will say if they walk away, and that is a huge problem this stigma has created.

I feel engagements and marriages are applauded yet if you are a divorcee you have to hide away in shame.

The Asian community see it is a weakness, but they’re wrong. It’s your superpower.

We are Priya and Harsh, a couple living in London and working the 9 to 5 (sometimes midnight) with a passion for travel and adventure.

Priya grew up in Kenya, and the adventurous hiking and camping trips as a kid have been the basis of her love for travel. Harsh grew up in India and then London, and having also lived and worked in the USA and UAE, refers to himself as a nomad. We met at university, got married 6 years ago, and that’s when our travel journey began. In the past 6 years we have travelled to 60 countries and all 7 continents together.

Travel for us is not about ticking off tourist spots or countries. It is about appreciating our beautiful planet and the wonderful people we meet along the way. Our travels have varied from road trips in Iceland, Namibia and the Australian outback, to the Venice Carnival, the Amazon jungle, horse riding in Patagonia, temple hopping in Myanmar, snowmobiling on a glacier with our parents, to an expedition cruise to Antarctica. The best part is finding hidden gems! Our passion for photography has also grown whilst travelling, and Priya tries to chase every sunrise and sunset she possibly can!

Social media has been a great way for us to show how amazing the world is, inspire others to travel, provide tips on places to visit and show that it is possible to see the world whilst still working. We plan our trips far in advance, use public holidays wisely and prioritise saving money for travel.

2020 has thrown us a slight curve ball, and we pray that things improve soon. Instead of travelling internationally, we are exploring the UK instead – next up is a road trip in Scotland. We are also using the time at home to finally make our travel blogging and YouTube dream come to life.

We are currently working on our very own travel website that will be launching very soon, so stay tuned and follow along for travel blogs that will hopefully give you new destination ideas, or simply information to help make your travel planning easier. We’re always happy to answer any questions.

Come over and say hello on Instagram and let us inspire YOUR travels!

Hi, my name is Bhavik Haria and I'm a Bhajan singer based in London.

My musical journey started when I was about 9 years old and my parents signed me up for tabla lessons. Soon after a couple of lessons, I realized that it wasn't something I enjoyed and sneaked into the room next door where they were teaching singing. The rest, as they say, is history!

Since a young age I’ve been singing bhajans with my grandad and mum, I just enjoyed it but never saw youngsters at these events. This didn’t stop me from continuing to go. The beauty of such soulful music is that it doesn’t matter you don't need understand the language for it to make you feel something special deep within. For me, devotional music, like Bhajans have a magical vibe that heals the soul.

I’ve made it my mission to . I strongly believe that it’s not just for the older generation, and can really be experimented with, to make this genre of music more appealing to tomorrow’s future.

During the past 12 weeks of this pandemic, I’ve been hosting online Bhajan sessions regularly. We’ve reached over 200,000 people around the globe and it’s incredible to have created this ‘global social family’. I’ve also just launched a series called which features other talented artists such as Hiten Parmar, Shri Gadhvi, and Jai Raja to name a few.

There are so many singers, musicians, and artists that have inspired me in many different ways throughout my journey. But the biggest inspiration and driving force for me at the moment has been the love, support, and unity that this global social family has created through these virtual Bhajans. It’s continuously encouraged me to innovate, create new music, and push beyond boundaries.

I am currently working on a very special project launching soon, so please head over and say hello! .

For those looking to follow their passion or if there’s something you strongly believe in, stay focused and committed to achieving it. As long as you’re filing a gap or solving a problem, stay dedicated to the cause and you will see change. It may take months or years, but trust me it will happen!

It all starts from you, us and our South Asian community.
We must continue learning, unlearning, reflecting, adapting, having uncomfortable conversations & continue changing. It’s an active process.
