This performance transforms the audience into both instrument and collaborator, using gestural recognition algorithms to weave subtle gestures into a collective “hive mind.” Embracing unintelligible signals, participants gain agency and reshape notions of control, authorship, and meaning.
Henrique Palmeirim Lázaro .laz is an artist and creative technologist who crafts immersive installations blending analog and digital media. Grounded in painting and fine arts training in Lisbon and London, its work questions Enlightenment legacies and Western systems of knowledge by embracing ambiguity and resisting stable frameworks. Drawing from digital culture, natural histories, and constructed environments, its practice honors what eludes scientific rationality, proposing new terrains for collective thought and experience.
