Good morning...as you plan for our 2026 amazing week on the beautiful island of Corfu Island Kavos, Corfu - Latest News .. just a helpful tip...PASSPORT INFO

Your passport must have been issued LESS than 10 years before the date you enter most European countries.
It must also usually have at least 3 months left BEFORE expiry on the day you leave. �

This catches people out because older UK passports sometimes had up to 9 extra months added on when renewed early. So although the expiry date may still look valid, Europe ignores any extra months beyond 10 years from the issue date.

Example:
Passport issued: 1 June 2015
Expiry date shown: 1 March 2026
For European travel, the passport would effectively stop being valid on 1 June 2025, not the printed expiry date.

Before travelling, check:
The issue date
The expiry date
Whether you have enough remaining validity for your destination
