HFBB010 - SIMMS, Juukyu, D.Tee & OPR8.

In the month we celebrate 5 YEARS OF MOTIVE HUNTER, we also mark the 10th edition of HFBB - a series that has now seen 70+ artists release on the label.

Simms makes his long-awaited label debut with a 4x4 junglist, four-to-the-floor tearout weapon - expect to hear this flying out a system near you soon.

Juukyu delivers a grime-influenced DnB/Jungle hybrid, paying homage to the sounds currently taking over the conversation.

D.tee combines old-skool references with new-skool weight, complete with one of the most unholy vocal drops we’ve heard in a minute.

Opr8 secures the fort with break-heavy, old-skool sounding Drum & Bass, dragged firmly into Motive territory. Absolute scorcher.

HFBB010 - OUT NOW EXCLUSIVELY ON BANDCAMP.

(Happy Bandcamp Friday)

Four different approaches to HFBB. Club Glow member LMajor makes his Motive Hunter debut, Midrib & Perlin turn up the tempo and bring their own production flair into faster territory, while Chester Perry brings a grime-influenced club weapon. All tried and tested on the dancefloor.

UNIT MOTive: 5 Years Of Motive Hunter

09.10.26 / 22:00-06:00 / M.O.T

5 whole years… it’s been a journey to say the least.

We’re celebrating with our only London rave of the year - a full-blown family session, inspired by the format of our first ever party at The (OG) Cause back in 2021: B2Bs from start to finish (alongside a healthy amount of MCs).

Plus a super:special unannounced headline set - some familiar faces joining forces for the first time ever.

We can’t wait to welcome you to UNIT MOTive and kick off club season properly.

Tickets start cheap, but they’re limited. Don’t sleep.

HFBB007 - Narna, Nik Fury, 3MPEROR AUGUSTU5, & Codename.

HFBB007 highlights the breadth of the emerging Jungle scene. Featuring four up-and-coming producers, it moves effortlessly between raw, break-led club weapons and faster, DNB-adjacent productions, reflecting a generation unafraid to push the sound into new territory.

This month’s release marks half a calendar year of consecutive monthly drops. Sending appreciation to everyone that’s been involved since the re:birth of HFBB so far: .tufstuf .uk .mcr .etc .josh Healy .alchemist .wav
