It's a great one-stop shop for everything related to free ensemble improvisation, and welcomes any additions to its database.

GIOdynamics is a session of small group improvised music run by the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra. There’s no charge to join in.

The Blank Canvas Ensemble-Manchester offers a great opportunity for musicians to create ensemble improvisations within a democratic framework. It's use of silence is revolutionary. This was not the case last night at the Peer Hat because there were only two of us. Such is the inconsistencies of the world of "Free improv" the previous highs include attendances of 8 and 14.

Regardless, Phil Morton and Tim Veal, now two people cannot be democratic, had a good time and we played 8 x 6 minute duos under metered free improv rules. This was fab and a joy in the context that is the deflationary context that is the absence of improvisers. It was great playing with Tim and I could feel and hear the benefit that the new normal offers improvisers, that new normal is hybrid working. Hybrid working increases the frequency of playing, increased frequency develops your/my compentancies.
We just went through the gears, I could do this with ease, except when the flesh was weak.
