Hide the gun is referencing the internal reflex to hide my true self when meeting new people, hiding the gun and showing instead something in the shape of a gun, quieter, a less offensive weapon that hopefully won’t make a mistake. No bullets, no barrel, safety on.
That’s not true.
I heard it on a film.
Pretty cool if I did think of lyrics like that.
But I don’t.
I watched a film.
