Hey Bride-lings!

It's been a while...

I started this page to support couples through the exciting journey of wedding planning whilst studying to become a wedding planner myself.

The journey has took me away into other things, all still wedding related...you know me 😊

I am truly excited to confirm that Scouse Bride Guide is back and re-launching, branding and building amazing content for 2023! With heaps of industry experience and knowledge this page will be the place to be for all things weddings!

Keeping organised: when planning your big day it's a good idea to create an email address specifically for your wedding suppliers. We did it and I found it useful.

Keeping photos organised: why not set up your an Instagram for your big day! Throw in your own unique hashtags, inform your guests and get everyone to tag their pics of your special day. You'll have all the pics in one place where everyone can upload to. Being tagged on 10 different Facebook accounts is a nightmare if you want to see all the pics in one place so Instagram is a good option.

In the bubble of wedding planning, venue shopping and the dress shop we do forgot about the boring bits which can become a problem on the day so when looking for venues, bare in mind parking, air con & charges for damages whether its clothing, venue and hire cars xx

LITTLE IDEA! Wedding guests love a lil spotlight at weddings, I know I do! A little novelty to have is ask all your wedding guests to send you a photo of when they was a baby (they can send it with their RSVPs) then during your evening reception put the photos on a wall and your guests can guess who the baby was! Its a good way for guests to get to know eachother, its a good ice breaker too for the distant relatives

Not sure how to break the news to friends and family that they will only be invited to the evening? We've all been there, awkward and terrifying BUT heres a few tips to lessen the blow

* Tell them from the word go, longer you leave it the worse their reaction
* Tell them over dinner or a nice drink out. This shows you enjoy their company, takes away the feeling of rejection
* Be honest. If its because of money just tell them, we all understand weddings are expensive
* Arrange a get-together after the wedding and invite your friends and family who you havent been invited to the wedding to come
* Be sure to remain in contact throughout your wedding planning stage, keeping connected will prevent them taking the lack of invite personally. They wont feel forgotten about

I hope this helps x
