Something a little different taking shape in the workshop… 👀🪵🌸

Today we’ve been working with these beautiful pieces of olive ash, preparing them for a very special bespoke resin table.

The timber is being cut, planed and carefully stripped back by hand, while retaining those gorgeous natural live edges and distinctive grain.

Eventually, the two pieces will sit either side of a clear resin river filled with preserved flowers 🌸 — combining natural timber with flowers that hold their own special memories.

There’s a lot of preparation that happens before we ever get to pour the resin, and we thought we’d share a little behind-the-scenes look at the process.

From raw olive ash to a completely unique piece of furniture… this one is going to be exciting. 👀

Can’t wait to show you the next stage.

Behind every finished keepsake is a slightly less glamorous side of resin work… 😂

Mask on, goggles on, workshop covered in dust — all part of turning something incredibly special into something that can be kept for years to come. 💜

These wedding flowers have now been transformed into a collection of handmade resin keepsakes, including coasters, a trinket tray and a photo piece featuring one of the couple’s favourite photographs from their day.

I absolutely love seeing a full collection come together like this. Instead of the bouquet disappearing after the wedding, little pieces of it can now live around their home and bring back those memories every time they’re seen.

It’s been a flower drying kind of day 🌸

A little look behind the scenes at Really Resin today… bouquets arriving, flowers being carefully taken apart, sorted and prepared for drying before they eventually become keepsakes. 🤍

This is one of the most important parts of the whole preservation process. Every flower behaves slightly differently, so each bouquet is carefully assessed and the best drying method chosen to help retain as much of its shape and colour as possible.

And today we’ve had some seriously beautiful flowers to work with 😍🌻🌹

It always feels slightly brutal taking a gorgeous bouquet apart 😂 — but knowing these flowers are going to become something that can be kept for years makes it worth it.

From bouquet → drying → resin → forever. ✨

A special Sunday flower drop-off 🌸💍

These gorgeous wedding flowers were dropped off with us today, just before the newlyweds head off on their honeymoon tomorrow. ✈️🤍

Sunday was the only day they could get them to us, and with wedding flowers, time really does matter — so we were happy to arrange a weekend drop-off to get them safely into the preservation process.

What a bouquet too! 😍 Beautiful dahlias, sunflowers and delicate foliage, with so much colour and texture to work with.

They’ll now begin the careful drying and preparation process before being transformed into their resin keepsakes.

Getting married soon?
You can book your wedding flower preservation in advance, then either post your bouquet to us or arrange a drop-off in Liverpool after your wedding.

Have an amazing honeymoon — we’ll look after the flowers from here. 🌸

A little repair job in the workshop today 🖤

This handbag had lost one of the black inserts from its metal chain detail, leaving the white backing exposed.

Rather than replacing the hardware — a little carefully applied resin brought it back to life ✨

Small job, but a very satisfying before & after!

Have something unusual that needs a resin repair? Feel free to drop us a message.

A couple of new pieces of timber have just arrived in the Really Resin workshop 👀🪵

I absolutely love finding pieces like these — knots, cracks, live edges and all the imperfections that make every piece completely unique.

The question is… what would you turn them into?

I’ve already got a few ideas involving resin 😏

The live-edge piece could make an amazing serving board, and that big natural split in the round could become a feature rather than something to hide.

Pearl resin? Clear? Black? Flowers?

Let me know what you’d make 👇
