Yesterday, I hosted a Marvellous Medicine Badge Day with students and university colleagues. I had a lovely surprise at the end when I was awarded A National SSAGO (student scout and guide organisation) commendation for ‘Best Innovation’ for doing something different, unique and innovative.

What an awesome day of science geekiness!

It was great to meet Carrie Ann | Full STEAM Ahead catalyst club people in 3D rather than on a screen. Thanks Brilliant Bricks for the lovely orange lego with almost a million different combinations.

It was lovely to meet Matt Green The rapping scientist and lots of other amazing STEAM people.

Congratulations to the Code Zone for winning the STEAM educator category in the inaugural STEAM impact awards.

In forensics club this week we have been:
🐞learning about insects,
🦗exploring metamorphosis
🪰making fly models

Next week we begin decomposition and collecting insects as evidence to help determine PMI.
