I haven't always been an Arsenal fan 🔴

When I started dating my husband 11 years ago, it was the first time I'd really been around football. His family are massive Gooners, which basically meant I became a Gooner too. Fast forward a few years, and something shifted.

I started watching more games. Paying attention. Learning who the players were. Understanding what was actually going on. And now, 11 years later, I've got my own personalised Arsenal shirt (courtesy of the hubby), and I'm sitting watching them win the Premier League and play in the Champions League Final. 🥳

After a sad loss on Saturday, it felt absolutely incredible to watch the whole PL Parade on Sunday and see everyone come together to support the team and celebrate their huge success! They estimated around 1.5 million people attended the parade, and judging by the footage and amazing photos I'm seeing on my Instagram... I'd say they're right! Arsenal fans truly turned London red on Sunday, and it was a sight to behold. 😍

Now... isn't this what community is all about? It's not just being there for the wins, but showing loyalty, trust, transparency, showing up when it's not perfect, and also celebrating every win (big and small). Because success isn't a straight line - it's a whole rollercoaster. And it's a lot easier (and way more fun) when you're not riding it alone. 🎢

That's what I'm building at Eventually Cornwall - a community that supports each other through the highs and lows. A place where you don't just collect connections... You actually get to know people, build friendships, and support others on the same journey as you.

So here's a little question for you:

With our Leadership Workshop coming up on Friday, 15th May, I've been thinking a lot about what leadership looks like when it's not loud. 🤔

For me, it's: leading with heart, having a clear vision, and carrying it with calm confidence (even when you're figuring it out as you go). It's setting the tone, putting people first, and making brave decisions that protect what matters. 🩵

It's also the quieter stuff: listening, taking ownership, building trust, and staying curious instead of certain. Another big part of it is to keep showing up! 💪

Eventually Cornwall is evolving and I'm so excited to finally share what I've been working on in the background!

I'm no longer JUST networking... Eventually Cornwall is now hosting both social & networking events, created for anyone who wants to meet more people, feel more connected, and have something to look forward to.
