‼️🔥 There is an amber heat health alert, and the hot, dry conditions may also increase wildfire risk.

If you're enjoying the weather this weekend, please leave BBQs at home, take rubbish with you, and don't start campfires or bonfires.

If you spot a wildfire, call 999.

The park has properly settled into summer now. The trees are full, the evenings are stretching out a little longer, and there’s that familiar feeling of people lingering outside just a bit more than usual!

Over the coming months, the park will be filled with opportunities to spend time together, try something new, make things, learn things, and enjoy the landscape as it changes through the season. Our summer programme brings together community celebrations, family activities, music and theatre performances, and plenty of chances to simply slow down and enjoy being outdoors.

A lot of what we care about at Knowle Park centres around creating space. Space for creativity, for community, for curiosity, and for people of all ages to feel connected to the environment around them. Summer always feels like the season where that becomes most visible across the park.

And somewhere amongst the trees this summer, you may even spot a certain outlaw and his band of Merry Men… 🌲🏹

Whether you’re joining us for an event, stopping by with friends, or simply finding a quiet corner beneath the trees for a while, we’re looking forward to welcoming you over the summer months.

Keep an eye on our website and social media for even more exciting events and programme announcements… there’s lots still to come ☀️
