Wedding planning mistakes that cost couples money! 💰

I am in a number of groups where I constantly see couples posting about paying deposits to small businesses and then being ignored or not getting the product. This causes you to spend more money and time on the small things which causes additional stress in the lead up to the wedding.

A couple of things to look out for when booking suppliers:

1. Are they a legit business? Not just posting AI images of their product, can you see their work in real life weddings or a real life set up. You can tell the difference!

2. Are they sending you a proper confirmation, contract and billing information?

3. Do you only communicate through Facebook messages? If they don’t have a website, an email or any professional forms of communication this would be a red flag to me.

4. Do they have insurance? This is a completly normal question to ask, the answer should always be yes!

If you have any worries in booking a suppliers, have a chat with them or look for someone else who can offer a peace of mind from the get go ✨👏🏼

Somehow a year has passed and I still feel so grateful for the life we’ve built together ✨

Marriage has taught me that love isn’t just found in the big milestone moments — it’s in the quiet, ordinary days too. The little routines, the support, the laughter, the choosing each other over and over again.

Being married has made me love what I do even more because I know first hand just how meaningful that wedding day is. It’s the beginning of something so much bigger than one beautiful celebration.

I’m celebrating my anniversary coordinating someone else’s big day and enjoying all the wedding feels again.
