This gorgeous Gothic Luxe visitor fell in love with my steampunk wedding gown on my stand and because she was still around when I was packing up, I asked her if she'd like to try it on very quickly!

Her smiles and excitement as she twirled about in it made my heart swell, especially to see how happy her joy made her partner!

Fascinating couple, I hope we meet again!🤩🙏🏽

Gorgeous bride Isabel came to me in a whirlwind of worry, that her dress wasn't fitting the way she wanted. At this point, there were only a couple of weeks to go before her big day!😱

However, was able to fit her in because I had taken some time off to look after my dog's puppies (another story) and I felt compelled to help.

I took the shoulders up and re-set the sleeves, to ensure that they wouldn't slip off the shoulders, as Isabel moved.

Isabel told me that dancing is very important to her and her boo, so I made some changes to the bustle, making it lighter and enabling her to break out her best moves.

It's a big day for Brits - National Tea Day!

I'm more of a coffee drinker myself, but every now and then a cup of tea with a tiny bit of milk and a cheeky sweetener really revives me!

I swear by peppermint tea for all stomach discomforts and a "Sleepy tea" for my evening wind down.

Yes, I do prom dress alterations! 🥳💃🎉

Mum Suzy left me a glowing Google review, after I altered her lovely daughter's dress.

This gorgeous, shy girl walked in not thrilled at having to wear any kind of dress, but left my studio beaming with relief, that she would be comfortable ( if she had to be glamorous too)!

Standard prom alts tend to be shortening at front or all around from £60 for 2 layers, strap shortening and take ins, but I can do much more, so do get in touch to see how I can solve your prom dress problem.

"Help! My wedding dress is too small for me!"

The first alterationist told this bride to go away and lose 2 stone, 😟😔so I was on a mission to restore her confidence! 🙂

Wedding dresses can be made bigger, if there is enough useable seam allowance. If not, we have to add panels into the dress, or replace existing panels with larger ones, then blend it in. This is what I did here, at the side seams. I replaced the back illusion tulle with a wider piece and re-applied the lace.

This is a much bigger job and with hem shortening and bustle, came to £800. This bride loved this dress so it was a better option than the tedium of finding a new dress in time.
