We’ve been quiet on here for a while. Not on the ground.

Wedding season has been doing what wedding season does.
Great couples. Familiar venues. A few new ones. Plenty of moving parts and not a lot of standing still.

A lot cooked. A lot served. A lot of plates that came back suspiciously clean.

Many people think that to have a great celebration a venue needs certain facilities - such as walls, for instance, or a kitchen. Those people just don't have the Blame Frank mentality 😉

With careful planning and the right setup, food and service can run just as smoothly outdoors, in a marquee, or in more ✨unexpected✨ spaces (we're hoping 2026 is the year we get asked to cater a treehouse wedding).

Wherever you choose to celebrate, everything should fit the setting naturally.

Every wedding is different, and this venue came with an extra challenge as there was no catering kitchen on site. Our job was to make it feel effortless for the couple and their guests. Hearing how it felt from their side means everything.

Here’s our head chef Will, chucking together a few sliders…
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲. 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘆.

A 70/30 mix of chuck and brisket, hand-prepped with our butcher in Great Brickhill, shaped into sliders and cooked over flame for that perfect char.
A soft brioche bun, a little mustard, ketchup and crunchy onions…
Nothing complicated just really good ingredients treated properly.
