We have a quest to promote the comedy making talents of the Midlands and we do this via:

- Festival screenings of short films (including our main event as part of Leicester Comedy Festival)
- Networking events
- Youth work
- Training and Mentoring

Hi all - we've had to shut our website down due to the provider hiking the prices by about a gagillion percent (I exagerrate - it was only a 200% increase =p ).

We run Popcorn Funnies as a passion project - we truely believe in promoting Midlands film-makers so the side effect of that is having very little margin in terms of what we can fork out of our own pockets. The plan is for later years to make it bigger and better - but at the moment - walk before you run and all that!

Everything is going great on the festival side of things - some amazing submissions so far but happy to consider any last minute submissions - tentatively up until the 15th Jan but we may be able to extend that until the 30th Jan.
