Board Game Cafe took place at Montys fish and chip shop in December for the first time and it's back this month, 18 February from 7pm, just in time for half term.

We are supporting The Longest Night. The Monument has green tea lights for members of the public to take home and display in windows, a reminder that some people find this time of year tricky, and help is just a phone call away.

There are many gatherings in town today for company, provided by our community. Enjoy watching Morris Dancers, the Young Phoenix Choir and Greenwood Growth CIC Forest School for a DJ Set from Scabetti.

This weekend Leek Town Council lights Leek Green. As the daylight fades on Saturday 20, The Monument will be illuminated green through to 22 December providing a reminder that Samaritans are there to support everyone in their darkest hours. A limited supply of small green tea lights will be available from the wall at the Monument for you to take home and shine in your window. These are also available to collect from the stall in the Butter Market and will be given away at Advent Events on 21 December, details below:

🎶Leek Morris Dancers, 11 - 12.30 on Derby Street
🎙 Young Phoenix Choir, 2.30 - 5pm at Trinity Church
🦡GreenwoodGrowth CIC and Scabetti, live DJ set, 3 - 5pm, Scabetti car park, Britannia Street
