It's been over 5 years since I ran Moretti Club events and hand on heart, it's so rewarding collating the DJ lineups, spot lighting new emerging talent plus, getting the opportunity to work with some of the best selectors in the biz/Yorkshire Region'(within my reach/budget!). Promoting is a completely different ball game and most certainly NOT for the faint hearted!!!

In my experience as a woman, still in a very male nominated industry, I receive all kinds of, shall we say, "special treatment" - the good, the bad and the ugly.

Needless to say I've had to grow a thick skin and a pair of balls 😆

Sammy Dean is a UK-based DJ and producer making waves across the global house scene. Her signature sound, a vibrant fusion of house, tech, classics, and disco has ignited dance floors from iconic clubs like Fabric, LoveZoo, Defected Basement and Ministry of Sound to major UK festivals including Glastonbury, Beatherder, and Mucky Weekender, aswell as Ibiza hotspots Eden, Es Paradis, and BamBuKu.

Affectionately known as the Pocket Rocket, Sammy brings unstoppable energy and infectious passion to every set, drawing from her lifelong love affair with housemusic. Influenced by 90s classics, 80s pop, and 70s disco, her sets weave nostalgiawith cutting-edge sounds creating dance floor moments with her energy and versatility.

Her last release,

“It’s Alright” earned support from heavyweights Jamie JoneandDon Diablo, marking an exciting new chapter in her journey as a producer with
more music on the way.

Beyond the booth, Sammy champions inclusivity in club culture. She founded ‘A Very Important House Party’ a night celebrating all decades of House Music. And The After Party’ at Bora Bora in Malta, offering platforms for emerging DJs.

Whether she’s playing an intimate club or a festival main stage, Sammy Dean"sets are all about connection, energy, and pure eel-good house music.
