New sick photo means new intro post - it's tradition.

I’m Nathan, the founder of New Moon Productions. After almost 15 years as a creative director, I took a leap into the wedding industry four years ago, offering photography, videography, and recently, content creation.

My journey began when I hired my shoot partner Szymon to shoot my own wedding. His creativity and passion made my big day unforgettable, and it inspired me to team up with him. I wanted to create that same feeling for others, helping couples relive their big day. New Moon Productions was born.

As we have grown over the last couple of years, I’ve focused on capturing those feelings and expanding our services in photography, videography, and content creation.

I believe that exceptional quality should be accessible, and it’s important to have a trustworthy team. I understand how frustrating it can be when vendors don’t respond, so I make communication a priority.

We bring energy and creativity to your day, ensuring you, your bridal party, groomsmen, and guests are all ready to celebrate and create amazing content. Our style is relaxed and candid, capturing genuine moments as they happen.

From couples to venues and other suppliers, absolutely everyone that has supported us so far, thank you.

Some shots from the incredible taster menu shoot last weekend at Springbank Manor

Highly recommend heading down to the Parlour restaurant their and sampling the exquisite food they have on offer.

This was a pleasure to shoot and taste! I had the leak and potato soup, the beef and sticky toffee pudding 🤤

Would love to do more food photography.

Incredible day yesterday as I was privileged to be back shooting on behalf of Popsicle Photography for Lydia and Anthony's day.

With a ceremony over at St George's Hall we made the most of the stunning building, despite the rains best efforts.

We were back at the Malmaison hotel for an energetic evening with guests who were certainly ready to party. As desserts were cleared Matt Shaw Live delivered a magnificent Meatloaf tribute routine which had everyone on their feet dancing and singing along.

He warmed us up perfectly for Michael Mulholland - Acoustic Wedding Singer & DJ Yorkshire who played banger after banger on his acoustic starting with a rendition of teenage dirtbag, moving in to a little respect before blasting out Disco 2000 - my highlight of the night though was this charming man, superb.

An absolute belter of a day with two of the most wonderful human beings - it was an honour to capture.

How is it nearly September?

August has been a mad one for us at New Moon.

We have shot photo, video and content and been busy every weekend since the turn of the month - we haven't had chance to post about the majority of it amongst the chaos.

Throwback to this one though for Chloe and Connor 4 weeks ago.

An absolutely beautiful day, in the incredible setting of the . Back when we had brighter days and warmers weather.

A SECOND SHOOTERS PERSPECTIVE

Was incredible to be behind the lens second shooting for Jane and Louis in Saturday.

I saw a post in a wedding content creators group that grabbed my attention...

This BS response pi**ed me off!

Why?

Because it's all about Them!

Their priority was tagging/crediting themselves and how they can raise their own profile from someone else's wedding.

The key focus, ALWAYS, is the couple and the shots that can be captured for THEM.

It's their day, and amongst photographers, videographers and content creators the aim of that team, no matter who they are or how many of you there are, is to work collaboratively to ensure that collectively the couple get maximum value in what they receive.

This selfish perspective and self interest is exactly why content creators get a bad rep - you're not here to have a laugh and just capture fun videos YOU can post on socials - you are delivering a service.

Although I agree too many people on a wedding day doesn't work (depending on how big the wedding is) but there are ways to go about it.

Each vendor should not all be fighting for that same shot - they should be working collaboratively.

The mindset is that each person has to be focused on the couple at all times - that's not the aim.

And this is why, I feel, a lot of content creators starting out get a bad rep. They submerge in what they are doing too much, forgetting the bigger picture.

Change your mindset, think collaboratively, yes get them awesome fu***ng shots, but put the couple first...

And photographers/videographers that don't like change and newbies being on the scene - content creation is not a fad. It is here to stay and it's a fantastic service offering to couples.

There are some incredible content creators out there.

Be accepting of them on the day, collaborate with them and more importantly coach them in being better so we can keep giving our couples incredible memories of their day.

We knew we were going to be able to have fun with these two from the minute we hit bridal prep and Karen was in high spirits, busting her moves as we blasted out some Abba to set the mood.

As soon as we got her with Mark he matched her energy and they both leant into our creativity - a dream couple that made capturing portraits effortless.

Their guests got the energy memo too, armed with tambourines as they welcomed the couple into their wedding breakfast and ensuring the dance floor was packed from the first dance.

An amazing day we truly enjoyed capturing start to finish.
