Last night we had the privilege of performing once again for Gordon Lee, our treasured client of over 20 years, as he hosted his Chinese New Year celebrations at his beautiful Confucius restaurant.

We first met when his children were young and now we’re meeting the grandchildren. To be invited back, year after year, is an honour we never take for granted.

This past weekend was the hottest for ages! Lovely weather but uncomfortable to work in. I had three close-up gigs, all outside - two of them in the middle of the day in direct sunlight. But with lots of water and sunscreen all went very well - thank-you to my clients in Christchurch and Woking for booking me.

The drinks reception is just about to finish and I'm all ready to go with close-up magic for my client, who is celebrating her 60th birthday with a lunch, at the beautiful Grand Cafe, in Southampton. Last Tuesday we returned from the Far East sector of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines - Borealis, World Cruise. It was a truly MAGICAL experience as we were able to bring a touch of Japanese themed magic to our audiences and also re-unite with our Japanese family for the first time in 20 years...Wow! Thank-you to Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, all the entertainments team and the stage crew for a cruise that we will remember forever.

This time last week, we returned home from performing on our first cruise in nearly two years since Covid...Thank-you to Fred Olsen Cruises and all of the entertainments team. Special thanks to TeeJay Opinaldo Bor ProdMgr and the backstage crew and fellow guest entertainers, Lorraine Brown Gessey, Lloyd Davies, and Andy Eastwood for making this such an enjoyable first cruise back! Also, a big thank-you to our magical advisor/coach, mentor and friend, Jeff McBride for all his help with creating & developing new material for our shows...a true inspiration!

We also had the great opportunity to meet up (at a safe distance!) with some wonderful friends on board the Borealis and also from the Bolette in one of the ports.

So good to be back at sea doing what we love and amongst friends and performing on a fantastic theatre stage again!
