Yesterday’s ceremony at was simply beautiful.

A relaxed, easy-going ceremony with a room filled with love, laughter and absolutely stunning blooms. Their gorgeous unity candle ceremony was a special moment, symbolising the life they are building together and all that lies ahead.

An intimate ceremony in the stunning Guildhall today with their family and friends travelling from all over the world to witness their love story. This couple made writing their story so easy as they had such wonderful memories to share of their time together as friends throughout different countries before finally realising they were meant to be. What is a Naming Ceremony? 🌼

A humanist Naming Ceremony is meaningful and memorable way to celebrate and welcome a new child into the world. It is an alternative to a traditional christening focusing more on love and connection rather than religion. A Naming Ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate with those you love most and mark the beautiful name you have given your child.

A Naming Ceremony can be held absolutely anywhere you like. In your garden or house surrounded by family , friends and filled with love. You could have the ceremony on a beach or a special place that means a lot to you both as parents. The day can include special readings from family and friends aswell as special elements to include all the children in such as a unity sand ceremony.

Unity Candle Ceremony 🕯️

This is a beautiful way to symbolise the joining of two lives into one. An opportunity to have a meaningful moment of quiet amongst all of the excitement during the ceremony.

At the beginning of the ceremony each partner begins by lighting their own candle representing their individual selves , families and journeys that brought them here today. Then together the couple light the unity candles symbolising the union of two individuals lives into one.

There are many ways you can choose to add other special elements into your ceremony and as your celebrant , I will help you design a ceremony that suits you both. 🤍

How to include your little ones in your ceremony ✨

Mark & Vitor wanted to include their nephew Jonah in a special moment in their ceremony. We made Jonah a ring bearer (a 3 year old carrying Gucci rings can be nerve wrecking) but this moment turned out very special adding some toddler chaos , in the best way!

There are so many meaningful ways to involve children in your ceremony — whether they’re yours, family members, or just special to you.

🌸Flower petal sprinklers
📖 Reading a short poem (with some help!)
💌 Giving a hug, kiss, or special drawing to the couple during the ceremony
🎨 Creating a piece of art during the ceremony
🫶 Or simply standing with you as part of your story
