Quite often I get asked how do you do your job? I always answer by saying it's not a job it's a privilege...❤️

For every celebration of life I hold space for I always have two aims.

Firstly to make the family meeting as easy as possible and most of the time we laugh and shed a few tears together as memories are shared.

Secondly on the day of the service to make the deceased shine ✨️.

I believe everyone has the right to be the centre of attention at least once in their life and it's my privilege to make that happen as we celebrate lives and tell their stories.

This week is National Inclusion Week. This should be a time to celebrate the beauty of our differences.

Inclusion isn't a theme it's a practice that must start with us!

As a celebrant my role is to hold space for all regardless of race, colour or religion, where people feel seen, respected and safe to be themselves. Every ceremony I write is based by real stories, real identies and real families.

National Inclusion Week reminds us that every voice deserves to be heard, every love deserves a celebration and every goodbye deserves dignity.

I'm proud to make inclusion part of every ceremony I create when you give me the privilege to tell your story...❤️
