New vlog just dropped 🎥
I went out for “just a 5K” and ended up running over 8K — not bad considering I started the day full of cold 😷

Filmed around King’s Lynn with some decent running shots and a quick chat in the car before work.

If you’ve been enjoying the journey so far, go give it a watch 👇

Another 5k done this morning ✅ That means I’ve now clocked up 98 km in my 100k challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support. Just 2 km left to go, and I’ll be finishing it this Saturday at King’s Lynn parkrun 🎉

It’s been an incredible month of running, and I can’t wait to cross that finish line with the parkrun community and celebrate at the Macmillan Coffee Morning afterwards. 💚☕

If you’ve never been to parkrun before, this Saturday is the perfect chance — it’s free, fun, and you don’t have to be a runner to take part. Walk, jog, or run, you’ll be welcomed and cheered on the whole way.

See you Saturday for the big finish! 🏃‍♂️👏

💚 A very special thank you to G&P Coffee House in Irthlingborough.

They kindly donated £50 at the start of my challenge and promised another £50 if I managed to pass £500 raised — and true to their word, they’ve just added it! 🙌

It means so much to have local businesses supporting this cause in memory of my Dad. If you’re ever near 43 High Street, Irthlingborough, pop in for some great food, drinks, and amazing service. Supporting them means supporting the people who are helping make this fundraiser a success. ☕🍩

Thanks again G&P Coffee House — absolute legends 💚

A west Norfolk magician who has swapped his tricks for sprints in memory of his late father is taking on a mammoth challenge – losing six stones…

🎉 This morning I completed a half marathon
(21.1km) 💚

It’s the first time I’ve run this far since 2011, when I did the Milton Keynes Half Marathon to raise money in memory of my dad. Back then I only managed to raise £15.

Today’s run takes me to 58.41km so far in my 100km September challenge for Macmillan — officially past halfway ✅

The difference this time has blown me away. Together we’ve raised £549 online and £70 offline (£619 total) already, and the support has been incredible 🙌

Every kilometre is for my dad, for every family facing cancer, and for Macmillan.

Another run in the bag ✅

11.24km today, which takes me to 22.01km so far in my 100km challenge for Macmillan this September 💚 That’s already more than a fifth of the way there.

Every kilometre I run is in memory of my dad, for every family facing cancer, and for Macmillan.

The support has already been incredible — we’ve smashed through £500 raised and it keeps climbing 🙌

This morning I had the chance to talk about my challenge live on the radio — massive thanks to Simon Rowe and Radio West Norfolk for having me on 🙌

The support so far has been unbelievable. We’re now at £465 raised online (plus more offline), which is already triple what I thought I’d manage when I first set a £150 target. I’m genuinely blown away. 💚

Running-wise I’ve got 10.77km completed so far ✅ which means there’s 89.23km still to go in September.

Every step is in memory of my dad, Steven, and for Macmillan Cancer Support, who do incredible work for families facing cancer.

Thank you again to everyone who has donated, shared and supported so far — it means the world to me and my family. If you’d like to add your support, you can do it here:

This run is for my dad. This run is for every family facing cancer. This run is for Macmillan. 💚

Also a massive thanks to everyone for the support on my weight loss, you're all Rockstars ❤️

My story.

Hi, my name is Josh Maddocks

I have been performing magic for over 10 years, I specialise in close up card magic. This means I prefer to be up close and personal while performing, as opposed to being on stage.

I live for the smaller interactions, because they are intimate and completely ‘custom’ in a way. I have performed for the same groups of people many times and they are always happy to have hired me again, because I can deliver great entertainment at an affordable price.

Having the experience on my side means I have been in most situations, guests being drunk and heckling, dropping cards etc. through all of this I have learned lessons and adapted to all situations. I love hecklers now, it means they were at least paying attention and dropping cards? That’s all part of the trick(or I would have you believe).
