I’m going to address this once, because I’m aware there are things being said about me and my business that simply aren’t true.

Firstly, I have NOT blocked anyone who is owed a deposit or tried to avoid anybody.

I started returning deposits on Friday. Since then, Rayna went into labour and I’ve been dealing with the birth and care of her newborn puppies. Despite everything going on, I have contacted EVERYONE affected to ask for their payment details and to let them know when I can return their deposit.

Nobody is being ignored, nobody has been deliberately blocked, and I am not disappearing with anyone’s money.

I’ve also seen the “Jack of all trades” comments. I’m not ashamed of trying different things and trying to build successful businesses. I’m a woman trying to support my family, create fun experiences for children and build something for myself. Some ideas work, some don’t — that’s business. When something isn’t financially sustainable, the responsible thing to do is recognise that and close it rather than continue losing money.

And to whoever on my Facebook is taking information back to people and adding their own version of events — please stop. If you have an issue with me, speak to me directly instead of gossiping about me elsewhere.

I’m dealing directly with the people who actually have bookings with me, and they are the people who matter in this situation.

You’re entitled to your opinion of me, but trying to tear me down or hoping rumours will affect me isn’t going to achieve what you think it will.

I know what I’m doing to put things right, and that’s where my energy is going. ❤️

❤️ An update from Wild Encounters & Events

This is a post I never thought I’d be writing, but after a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Wild Encounters & Events

Running this little business has brought some amazing memories. I’ve loved seeing children’s faces light up when they’ve held a reptile for the first time, cuddled one of our smaller animals or met the animals at the farm. 🐐🐍🐰

However, sometimes you have to recognise when it’s time to make a change. For personal and family reasons, I need to simplify things and put my time, energy and focus elsewhere.

This hasn’t been an easy decision, especially because of how much work and love has gone into building Wild Encounters, but I know it’s the right decision for me and my family.

I’ll be contacting anyone with an affected booking privately, so please bear with me while I work through everything.

To every family, school, nursery, care home and organisation that has booked us, attended one of our events, shared a post or simply supported us along the way — thank you. ❤️

It really has meant more than you know.

Sometimes closing a chapter isn't failure. It's simply knowing when it's time to start a new one.

From the 17th to the 31st we have Halloween teepees to hire. Just £25 per teepee per night.

For all the weekends in November and first three weekends in December we have Christmas teepees to hire. Still only £25 per teepee per night.

All decor, mattresses, sleeping bags, snacks, sweets and juice provided.

🐾 A little update from me…

I've been a little quiet on here lately as my main focus has been our beautiful German Shepherd, Rayna and her growing little pups. 🥹🤎

Behind the scenes we’re busy getting everything ready, making sure mum-to-be is happy, healthy and thoroughly spoiled!

We’ll be sharing more as we get closer to welcoming those tiny paws. 🐶🐾

Exciting times ahead for Thistleheart German Shepherds.

I'm still taking bookings as usual but over the next 3 months, work is sparce for these reasons.

My daughter and her wee friend's teepee set up. They had their own blankets so no sleeping bags. It was music themed.
