Sheridan wanted WOW. And she wasn’t afraid of colour.

Coral. Hydrangeas. Scent. A little bit of that wild, romantic English garden feeling.

The original plan was an outdoor ceremony on the lawn at Sissons Barn. Then came the rain.

Thankfully, with an incredible venue and supplier team, the change of plan was effortless. The garden simply moved indoors.

For Sheridan’s flowers, I wanted every detail to feel intentional. Scented stock and jasmine brought the fragrance, while Living Coral garden roses gave us that perfect, almost impossible-to-match coral tone.

And then there was the barn.

A space this big needs flowers with presence, so we took the design upwards — spilling colour and foliage through the chandeliers before bringing it back down through the tables.

Tall, abundant centrepieces sat alongside lower bowls, creating that contrast between wild and considered. At the ceremony and top table, two statement plinth arrangements framed the spaces without overwhelming them.

It was colourful. Romantic. A little bit wild.

And very, very Sheridan.

Colour is actually only one part of the story.

The season, the venue, the light, the architecture, your dress, the style of your wedding and even the way your flowers will be photographed all influence which flowers will work beautifully together.

That’s why we love working with the seasonal flowers and the natural character of each stem, rather than trying to force a Pinterest colour palette into a wedding where it doesn’t quite belong.

The result is something softer, more natural and far more personal.

Think movement rather than uniformity. Texture rather than repetition. Flowers that look as though they were always meant to be there.

If you’re planning a wedding at one of Rutland or Stamford’s beautiful countryside venues, start with the feeling you want your wedding to have — we can help you turn that feeling into flowers.

Reintroducing the girl behind the flowers.

The gardener. The florist. The perfectionist. The one who cares a little too much about the details.

Because your wedding flowers should never feel like an afterthought.

They should feel like you.

And if you’re looking for a florist who’s going to obsess over the details right alongside you… hello.

I’m Angela. It’s lovely to meet you.

There’s a difference between having flowers at your wedding and having flowers that make the whole day feel like you.

For us, the starting point isn’t a colour chart or a list of flowers. It’s you.

The way you want your guests to feel when they arrive. The dress you’ve chosen. The setting you’ve fallen in love with. The season you’re marrying in. The little details that matter to you — and the things you might not have thought about yet.

From romantic, garden-style wedding flowers in Rutland to elegant floral designs for celebrations across Stamford and the surrounding countryside, every element is considered as part of the bigger picture.

Because your flowers shouldn’t simply match your wedding.

They should belong there.

If you’re planning a wedding in Rutland or Stamford and want flowers that feel personal, thoughtful and beautifully considered, we’d love to hear what you’re dreaming about.

A little glimpse of what’s to come.

We’re delighted to welcome C & J to our 2027 wedding diary, with their beautiful celebration at The Old Cow Shed to look forward to next year.

Thank you, C & J, for trusting us with your wedding flowers. We’re very much looking forward to creating something beautiful for you.

And if you’re planning a 2027 wedding in Rutland, Stamford or the surrounding countryside, our diary is open. For couples looking for considered, garden-inspired wedding floristry, we’d love to hear what you’re dreaming of.

And that’s a wrap on the Rutland Flower Show 2026.

What a weekend. From flowering the bandstand, to meeting so many lovely people and seeing the very best of Rutland in bloom - it’s been quite a one.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello, visited our work, supported us and made the weekend so special.

We’re heading back to The Flower Shed with very full hearts (and probably very tired feet).

Until next year, Rutland Flower Show.

From foliage to flowers

Creating our tropical meadow in 38°C heat was definitely a challenge — but seeing it come together made every sweaty minute worth it.

We wanted to create something that felt like an English country meadow… but with a tropical twist.

So alongside favourites such as Verbena bonariensis and Alliums, we introduced Anthurium, Protea and other exotic blooms — choosing varieties that could stand up to the heat while still giving us the colour, movement and texture we wanted.

The result? A meadow that crosses the colour spectrum from blues and lilacs through to pinks, with a distinctly tropical edge.

If you’re visiting the Rutland Flower Show this weekend, you’ll find our work on the bandstand — and our tropical meadow showpiece waiting to be discovered.

Come and see it for yourself.
