The Acoustic Room The Acoustic Room is a monthly event run at sites across Kent which showcases the best in local, nat We look forward to hosting you at one of our nights.

The Acoustic Room was created to highlight the depth of professional talent throughout Kent, nationally and internationally. Rather than focusing on one type of music, The Acoustic Room prefers to revel in stripping back music to the essentials. You might see a gospel choir or solo vocalists, harp players or blues guitarists. The only thing they will have in common will be their excellence and ded

ication to their craft. We are committed to making sure artists are paid fairly for their work, and we emphasize that they are guaranteed a good wage for the music they perform, sharing in the profits created from the events. We think everyone should profit from an event, not just the organisers. We are also committed to making the evening out enjoyable but also affordable. We emphasize the importance of bringing your own drinks with you to the venue, where glasses will be made available on site, and free soft drinks will be provided to those who are the designated drivers. Most of all, we want to ensure that you have a wonderful evening, and enjoy the ambience of the production without distractions, removing layers between you and the performers.

And now for a little bit more acoustic music - this is one of our all time favourite tracks. Jon McLaughlin is one of those guys that should be huge. The lyrics are clever - you start off thinking happy thoughts before it breaks your heart at the end.
