3 years ago I would struggle to sing in front of even one person.

Being part of a community who were regularly sharing music together taught me how much of a gift it is to share songs with a group. A gift for the person sharing and a gift for those receiving. What I realised is it doesn't matter how 'good' someone is at singing. How good their voice sounds, or how good their song writing is. What matters is their courage and their heart. You cannot hide anything when you are sharing a song. Thats why it is so touching to hear. Because you are hearing that persons soul. and that is why there nothing that can be done wrong.

So many people, myself included have issues with truthful expression, whether that is speaking our truth or singing.

I find that through singing in community I can enter this beautiful space of deep connection where my individual identity dissolves and I merge with something larger. This place of non - self is so freeing, healing and blissful. This is what I want to share with people, dropping in to a bigger consciousness and flow state. And so much healing can happen in community..

Just sharing this video from my recent trip to the Arabuko Sokoke forest… 24% of the species found here are rare and/or occur nowhere else.. We saw a lot of amazing wildlife.. 💕

It felt amazing to be there as this was a forest that my grandparents Jeanie and Roddy Knocker often visited and knew well… it felt like following in their footprints…
