I had forgotten how it felt to work in such a peaceful space with no noise or interruption.

Washed & im-pressed

Today, I felt a great sense of achievement by hanging up the pinnie's, marking the moment the paint brushes had dried out & the hammer had lost its bang.

Although there's a very small snagging list, I am feeling very proud & so excited to welcome you into this beautiful space. You will be impressed, as I have designed & dedicated it to your curiosity & creativity.

It's all done in good time & ready for some special flowering work this week, my September weddings & workshops. 🙏

Finally, I also wanted you to know that my festive workshops will be available to book this week at the brand new Ironbridge Gorge Flower School.

Granddaughter came to check out my new studio space today & spend some time in & around Maws.

Nettie's new location 🌿
& it just so happens to be one of my favourite places here in Ironbridge, Maws Craft Centre.

I know my flower friends here will be delighted, as it is a true gem of the Gorge and for those of you who don't wander far from the Iron bridge, it is only 1 mile down the river, where you're spoilt with stunning walks in and around Jackfield.

Over the next few weeks, I will be preparing a beautiful creative space dedicated to my popular workshops, classes & where I can quietly do my wedding work. Situated in the pretty Victorian courtyard of the Maw & Co refurbised tile factory, there is a collection of art, craft and design studios, including a cafe.

Whilst I am busy getting ready for a new look and a new chapter, I have released my AUTUMN WORKSHOP dates to be hosted here at Maws in Nettie's new 'offshoot' - The Ironbridge Gorge Flower School. 🌿

Express yourself.

"There was a lovely welcome and whatever your creative skill set you will come away feeling great. I had never done anything like this before so I was totally put out of my comfort zone for the first two minutes.
Group instructions on how to, and then we were away. A couple of hours later and there it was done. I am, to be fair very proud of my achievement as were we all. The light refreshments were an added
bonus and a lovely touch"

I'm a little quiet at the moment, unless you want to see me loading a van, doing a number of car runs, boxing up or on my hands & knees scrubbing. Of course you don't & neither do I!
