The gorgeous Frances and Jordan chose North Sands Hotel for their wedding because it has the hugest dance floor around!
Their story started at Dounreay, continued with long walks, long drives with great soundtracks, supporting each other in sport, and renovating their first house. It’s all about the fun and never about sitting still. And they work because they have realised something profound; when there’s a problem, it’s the two of them against the problem, not one against the other.
Family and friends were thanked and honoured, they brought the Munros and Sutherlands together with a handfasting of tartans, and exchanged rings, vows, and a kiss.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Munto, who will be tearing up the dance floor as I type. Wishing you both all the happiness in the world, and than you for trusting me with your ceremony 🧡💛🧡🌻🌻🌻

"All that matters, when we're gone, is how we loved."
This was a new piece of music to me, chosen for a much-loved mum who was lost to her adult children some time ago, through Alzheimer's.
It's such a privilege to work alongside families in the most acute moments of their grief, to help them say a good goodbye to the person they have loved.
It can be hard not to dwell on recent memories, when the last months and years have been challenging, but the family shared their 'real' mum with me during preparations for the funeral.
What a wonderful woman she was. I'm sorry only have to have got to know her through their memories.

These two were a dream to work with in the run up to their beautiful wedding on Saturday.
Best friends for four years before they fell in love, Steven had been planning to askJill to be his BEST MAN when he got married… before they realised their real feelings for each other.
Since ‘That Conversation’ it’s been perfect - they already knew they got on, already shared passions for music festivals, travel and skiing, already loved each other’s families 😀
Wishing them all the happiness for many more adventures ahead… as the brand new Mr and Mrs Graham!
It’s just a piece of paper, but it says ‘I love you’. 😁❤️🥂💍😘

A&B (not their real initials😁) married today at The Lost Valley in Glencoe.
I’m not sure personal vows have ever touched me more.
Did I say it was a secret elopement?
I’m holding their secret till they decide the time is right to share their news with family and friends.
All I will say is that we got just 30mins without rain today - those 30 mins were during their ceremony.
I am filled up.
Such love, such joy… an elopement without compromise.
I can’t wait to share their photos 😁
