ANOTHER EVENT SAVED ⚡️

The HITA’s Awards is one of the Highlands’ most iconic annual events — celebrating the best in hospitality, innovation, and tourism across the region.

When Storm Amy caused a full power outage mid-dinner service at The Drumossie Hotel, our team at KBE Event Services acted fast. Within the hour, we had one of our own generators on-site, powering the event and ensuring that the night continued seamlessly.

Music, lighting, and video resumed as planned — and the celebration carried on into the early hours!

✨ From intimate indoor award shows to large-scale outdoor Games, Galas and Truck Shows.. the KBE Events team has been out in force — delivering sound, lighting, power, comms, WiFi, fencing and full technical support.

💪 Huge effort from the crew to keep everything running seamlessly. We’ve even been trialling new Stage V generators and hybrid tower lights (thanks to our friends at MacGregor Industrial Supplies) to help reduce our carbon footprint while keeping events powered efficiently.

Tech meets trees! We had the pleasure of supplying all things audio, sound, microphones & tech support for the grand opening of Newton Tree Nursery near Elgin – officially opened by First Minister John Swinney!

This brand-new £26 million facility is almost two football pitches in size 🌱 and the huge glasshouse can facilitate 4.5 million tree grows at a time – a massive boost for Scotland’s forests, tackling climate change, and supporting the rural economy.

And yes… it was super hot inside the glasshouse – hotter than our speakers at full volume! 🔥🎶

Big thanks to Forestry and Land Scotland for having us be part of such an exciting project! 💚
