💙 WHAT A NIGHT! 💙
Firstly, thank you to every single person who came along, bought a ticket, danced, donated, shared a post, supported the DJs and helped make yesterday what it was.
We honestly couldn’t have done it without you.
Right now I’m curled up on the sofa recovering, slightly broken, and wondering how organisers manage to do this every weekend! 😂
But seeing so many people enjoying themselves, supporting local talent and helping raise money for One Ilfracombe Youth Club made every stressful moment worth it.
There are a lot of thank yous to give, because events like this don’t happen without some pretty amazing people behind them… prepare for a long post ☕️

The few days leading up to this event were stressful, with lots of changes, last-minute problem solving and the odd moment where my stress levels were higher than normal!
One of the reasons I love doing events with you is because it takes us right back to where it all started. We spent many years clubbing, dancing and enjoying music together when we first met over 20 years ago. Now we’re creating events together and helping bring people together through music whilst raising money for charity.
Working on projects like this keeps our spark alive, and I genuinely couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for putting up with me, believing in the vision and always stepping up when needed.

People often think events need famous headliners, but yesterday proved that we have some seriously talented DJs right here on our doorstep.

You are operating at a completely different level.
Your understanding of music, flow and energy is incredible. Not only are you absolutely worthy of headliner status, you stepped in at the last minute and took the opening slot without hesitation.
No drama. No fuss. Just “Yep, I’ll be there mate.”
Then you came back later and absolutely smashed a second set too.
I am genuinely glad your other event didn’t go ahead because you were simply phenomenal yesterday.

I know DJing is your dream and you absolutely smashed it yesterday.
Not only did you play a brilliant set while everyone was enjoying the sunshine and dancing outside, you then stepped up and played it again when we hit some technical issues.

On this journey I’ve come across plenty of stress, changes and the odd bit of drama (and anyone who organises events will know exactly what I’m talking about!).
