Think Wild Shermanbury is too difficult to get to? Think again! 🌿

Want to join us for Wed in the Wild but don't want to drive? Don't worry, we've got public transport stopping right outside our gates! 🚌

By train + bus 🚂

Take the train to Horsham (typically 45–55 minutes from London, or around 55 minutes with one change from Brighton).

From Horsham Bus Station, catch the Stagecoach 17 towards Brighton.

Get off at Wychwood, which is right outside the entrance to Shermanbury Place and walk 5 minutes down our scenic driveway.

The bus journey from Horsham to Wychwood is around 20–25 minutes, depending on the service.

Direct by bus from Brighton

The Stagecoach 17 runs daily between Brighton and Horsham, stopping at Wychwood outside the entrance to Shermanbury Place.

From central Brighton, the journey is approximately 50–55 minutes to Wychwood (the full route to Horsham takes just over an hour).

Ditch the car and enjoy the day with us at Wild Shermanbury! With incredible suppliers, entertainment and food and drink to enjoy - why not make a day of it!

My portraits are all illustrated on high quality matte 300gsm card. I use fine liners to draw my outlines and marker pens to add colour (oh I’ll also be adding some glitter to portraits if you want that extra sparkle!)

I’ve been drawing for a very long time so I’ve had a lot of practice and I even amaze myself sometimes with how quick I can draw people!

For your guests wanting to be illustrated there really isn’t much for them to do. They simply pose for a photo, celebrate with your loved ones and I do the rest!

Tucked away on the estate is the beautiful St Giles Church, an intimate 12th-century setting for saying I do, with space for around 80 of your favourite people.

There’s something pretty special about getting married somewhere with so much history and character, surrounded by the Sussex countryside.

And once the confetti has settled? You don’t have to go far… wander back through the estate, head to the Party Paddock and let the celebrations begin. 🌿✨

Rachel did the flowers for my wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. I had bouquets, button holes, flower wands for the children and stems for the bud vases on the tables. Rachel was a pleasure to work with and managed to get all the flowers I wanted for my spring bouquet and use local flowers where possible. It had now been 5 days and the flowers still look fresh and have brightened up my whole house. Thank you.

Our Party Paddock is a little bit of a blank canvas, a space to make completely your own. Think long tables under the stars, barefoot dancing, twinkling lights, tipi tents, campfires, laid-back lunches or big celebrations that carry on well into the night.

With open space, countryside all around and our lovely farm animals not too far away, there’s plenty of room to let your imagination run wild. 🐑🌾

We love the idea that you can come to Shermanbury with a blank canvas and make it whatever you want it to be. Maybe that’s a giant tipi in the paddock, yoga as the sun comes up, a long table filled with good food, music under the stars or simply a campfire, some friends and nowhere else you need to be.
