The quiet days of being self-employed can feel strange.
One week you’re juggling calls, deadlines, enquiries, and wondering how you’ll fit it all in. The next, your inbox is silent and your calendar suddenly has space.
I’ve learned that the quieter periods aren’t always a sign that something is wrong. They’re often part of the rhythm of running your own business. Time to catch up, plan ahead, work on the things that get pushed aside when life is busy, and sometimes just take a breath before the next wave arrives.
Being self-employed teaches you patience, and trust in the process. Let’s hope the busy weeks return, just as the quiet ones do.
Here’s to trying to embracing both. 🍃
